The actual weight of the baked loaf will vary depending on the weight of raw ingredients used. Before making your first loaf, remove any promotional stickers from the Baker's Oven. Do not remove the Baker's Oven logo located on the front panel of the bread machine. Before using for the first time, we recommend that the inside of the bread pan and the kneading blade be washed with warm soapy water, rinsed and dried thoroughly. Do not immerse the bread pan in water.Combine 3 tablespoons cheddar cheese, 3 tablespoons finely chopped bacon and 2 teaspoons chopped fresh chives. Open the bread machine lid and carefully sprinkle combined ingredients over the top of loaf. Close the lid. Press the Menu button seven times and the Display Window will show 8 and then change automatically to 1:00. Press the Start button. After sufficient baking time to melt cheese and crisp bacon, press the Stop button. Carefully remove bread from the bread machine and bread pan. Allow to cool on a rack. STEP 2. INSERT THE KNEADING BLADE. It is important that the kneading blade is properly inserted on the shaft in the base of the bread pan by aligning the flat edge on the inside of the kneading blade with the flat side of the shaft. If the blade is not inserted correctly the ingredients may not be mixed and kneaded properly. Its been the best thing i have bought in a long time, it is the best money i have spent. Ok easy to use Good vale for price, didn't try yet, best yet. I haven't used this for a couple of years and jsut got it out of the cupboard but from memory it made lovely bread.Good little household unit, yes it easy to useOnly used it once as i misplaced the instructions and user guide, it's easy to use and cost effective, the best one by far. Designated trademarks and brands are the property of their respective owners. NB: Heat loss occurs through the viewing window in the top of the machine; so we recommend for everyone to put a few layers of Aluminium foil over the window. Hints: Use lukewarm water in winter as the machines do not have a pre-kneading warming cycle (Some brands do). We have found that the French Setting produces the biggest and best loaf; also with a Dark Crust setting. NB: The bucket is small and square in design, dough is not well developed and staling occurs more quickly comparatively to other designs. Add a little more water for German Grain and little less for the Rye - check as mixing to make sure all flour has been absorbed. Mostly I use a mix of 200g of crusty white bread mix plus 200g of any of the other flavours eg German grain etc. Good loaf every time. Date Purchased Feb 2018 Like Share More Similar opinion. Oli-F Western Australia, 6019 Based on those I would not have bought this brand or model, but I got a really good deal (second hand, but like new) and I thought I’d give it a go. To my surprise, this machine is very quiet, and I can’t believe anybody criticised it for this aspect. It mixes the dough well which I was also sceptical about. I enjoy watching as it is happening. Like most people I paid my learning fee by stuffing up my first 3-4 loafs, which was disappointing. Read more but since then my breads are better and better. It is important to follow the recipes to the word and in my experience maybe put in a touch more yeast. Try the smaller loafs first and only bake the larger one once you perfected the ingredients. If you prefer a harder crust (like we do), once the bread is ready, you can put on the “Bake Only” function for 15-20 minutes. Unfortunately you have to turn it off manually after the desired time as it is set for 1 hour only without being able to adjust it. Makes great bread; simple to use; quiet; relatively small; has timer to wake up for the delicious smell of fresh bread; easy to clean. Nothing really except the bake only function could have been set up so the baking time is adjustable. Engineers: a simple programming could fix this!!! 1 like Share More Similar opinion. Write a review on ProductReview.com.au ! mumandpoo Put 289 mls (or grms same thing) of tepid water in the pan. Not cold, not hot. This is most important. Then add 436 grms of Laucke Crusty Breadmix, make. Set on Basic and Crust on H for dark. Three hours later you should have the perfect loaf. Store breadmix in the pantry but roll down your yeast packet, store with clip and keep in the freezer. These measurements have given me the perfect loaf. Anymore and the bread hits the glass top and that means you have to clean it. I have a folded piece of alfoil that i sit on top of the glass on the outside while the bread is cooking for the last hour, just make sure it doesnt slide over the air vents. I really believe if you do not get good results with these measures and the Laucke Mix you machines would have to be faulty.
