It’s definitely an option to put at the top of your list. Quick and quiet, it was designed in consultation with lactation experts to provide comfort and efficiency. It’s part of the Learning Curve family, which has other nursery brands, such as Lamaze developmental play toys, to its name. The First Years claims its Breastflow range is the only bottlefeeding system with a double teat that requires both suction and compression. This is meant to mimic the way a baby breastfeeds. It’s compatible with all products in the Breastflow range, so you can buy extra bottles and teats. The mechanism works well, making expressing quite fast for a manual pump. Its swivel handle also allows you to choose the position for pumping that suits you best. A booklet with an index of topics would have been more helpful. The instructions are quite comprehensive, though, including a troubleshooting section and guidelines on breast milk storage. Amazon calculates a product’s star ratings based on a machine learned model instead of a raw data average. The model takes into account factors including the age of a rating, whether the ratings are from verified purchasers, and factors that establish reviewer trustworthiness. See All Buying Options Add to Wish List Disabling it will result in some disabled or missing features. You can still see all customer reviews for the product. I really love the fact that it's quite, easy to assemble even if you didn't have a instruction booklet, easy to clean, it records your sessions, has a timer, you don't have to always plug it up and most importantly the fact that you can control the speed and suction separately(I highly recommend a pump that offers these options). I'm not too fond of the medela hospital grade you can't control it separately and it just tugs on your breast. Ameda does a wonderful job but I still love this pump better than all the pumps I have tried. http://obkladacstvikolar.com/content/file/brookstone-slcdv2_0-user-manual.xml

You have to position your nipples in the middle of the flanges properly and there shouldn't be a problem. I don't turn the suction up all the way I keep it at a 6 or 7 and speed stays at a 1. Slow and easy does it. Don't rush it to maximize your milk production. I don't have any problems with it yet but if I do I will update you all. Hope this helps! The flexi fit shields are amazing. Most comfort you can get with a breast pump in my opinion!. Great price most bang for your buck. And arrived within just a few days of purchasing. Will recommend to furture mommies to be!. Updated: daughter is now 3 mos old. We breastfeed about 95 of time. But those times when I feel a little full I pump. Well one side has completely stopped working. Might as well have just kept my single electric pump. The one side that does work, works great. May have to context the seller in which I purchased from. Hopefully this situation can be fixed. A reaaaaaal bummer. Please try again later. It comes with the tubing, the light weight handheld digital touchscreen pump that lights up, cooler bag with hard plastic ice pack, multi-compartment carrying tote, 2 sizes of silicone flanges, 2-5oz BreastFlow bottles with milk storage lids, instruction booklets and the awesome handle for hassle free double pumping. I really love the fact that it's quite, easy to assemble even if you didn't have a instruction booklet, easy to clean, it records your sessions, has a timer, you don't have to always plug it up and most importantly the fact that you can control the speed and suction separately(I highly recommend a pump that offers these options). Hope this helps! Please try again later. Please try again later. Was using hand pumps before this and this is heaven sent. Speed and suction options are great. And it can be used plugged in or you can put in the rechargeable battery and use it on the go. I recently got milk in the tubing because I bent down a little to grab something while pumping advice do not do that. http://metabolit-plus.ru/files/file/brookstone-smartset-clock-manual.xml

They sent out new tubing and said if I ever have problems with the pump to call:) yay so satisfied all the way around. Please try again later. Please try again later. Nicca0320 5.0 out of 5 stars I bought this one for work and I love it better than my other pump (Medela) I use it three times a day and sometimes more if I feel like it. It can be used plugged in or you can charge it and use it. The charge holds for the amount of pumping for 2 hours if this helps anyone. I am not your usual pumper, I usually pump for an hour not 20 mins. Also, the picture does not do any justice at all. The bag was perfect for the pump, accessories, bottles and more. I called the customer service number to purchase additional parts and they shipped it to me free. I couldn't be any happier with this purchase. Please try again later. Please try again later. Josh and Koda Webb 4.0 out of 5 stars I only pump on occasions and it works really well when I do need it. I love the double pump and the handle is really nice if you dont have a pumping bra. I really liked that it had to sizes of the breast shields. Only down fall is my last pump from first years had a hose that would plug on one end, so you could use it on just one side this one doesn't. Other then that it works great for me.Please try again later. Please try again later. Sha Parker 4.0 out of 5 stars She said it's worked as expected. She did have a small issue with water being able to get inside of one of the parts but she called the company and they sent her a replacement, no questions asked. You can't beat good customer service and the willingness to back up their products. She loved the fact that she could dual pump and it was quiet enough that she was able to pump while feeding her son and the noise didn't bother him. http://www.drupalitalia.org/node/76462

I loved the case it came with and the overall design of it. I was so happy when I got it in and it didn't look cheap. Please try again later. Please try again later. Anna Blary 5.0 out of 5 stars It was GREAT. I loved the ability to adjust the suction power and how it would record and save the amount pumped from previous time. It was also very easy to clean and it exceeded my expectations. I regifted it to another breastfeeding mother after i had finished using it and would highly recommendPlease try again later. Please try again later. Red 1.0 out of 5 stars My daughter is 16mths and she was only breastfeed 3mths and now I have a newborn again. The battery no longer keeps a charge. It only works plugged up and that's if you have the pump going. As soon as you stop the pump it shuts off and it won't keep a log. I'm getting a free Medela from my insurance thank goodness I don't have to buy another pump. The first years was a waist of money. Please try again later. Please try again later. Kylee 2.0 out of 5 stars I've it had it now for 7 months and at first the battery died and I could not find a replacement so I had to start carrying the charger, yesterday the whole pump shorted out so I have to buy a new one all together. I would personally only recommend if using for a short period of time. Please try again later. Please try again later. erica 5.0 out of 5 stars This pump is so much more comfortable because of the silicon breast shields. It also allows me to pump more milk. The handle is so handy.I am so happy I didn't give up on pumping at work. Just needed a better pump. To bad my insurance didn't cover this one. It's so much more advanced as well. It has a count of minutes and you can track your milk volume for each pump. Highly recommended! Please try again later. Please try again later. The First Years My Expression Manual Breast Pump is a good second pump but I would not recommend it as a primary manual pump. It seemed to be a good pump for the money when I first used it but as time went on the pump seemed to become less effective. I usually use a high grade Medela manual pump which has always been very reliable for me while nursing each of my five babies. If I were on a family outing and had to have a pump in a pinch then this one would be okay but definitely not for daily use. The bad thing is that once you buy and open a breast pump, you can't return them because of the contamination risk. This pump did seem easy enough to clean and wasn't awkward to use. I liked the swivel feature and the storage bag that came with the pump. You can buy extra bottles to switch out if you need more than one. Over all this pump is on the lower end of pump brands. It isn't really worth the price that is listed. See more VS Most helpful positive review 1 customers found this helpful Average Rating: ( 4.0 ) out of 5 stars Easy to use, portable, works well. The unit has a smooth and appealing appearance, with a discreet carrying bag. It has a nice swivel pump handle for easy one-hand operation and relaxed positioning, so a mom can pump one breast while feeding baby from the other. The breast shield is soft and comfortable. The unit is easy to disassemble and clean. The included bottle has a pleasing, easy-to-hold shape and the nipple is similar to the pacifiers most commonly used in hospitals. There are also good instructions included in the package for use and storage of breast milk for baby's safety. I would not want to use this manual unit for regular pumping of both breasts, but for occasional emptying of one breast or storing extra milk for a time when baby must be fed a bottle, this unit would be handy to have on the nursery shelf. The valve may require special attention to keep it clean and operating well, but that seems to be true with breast pumps in general. I would recommend this product without hesitation. My daughter needed it to collect breast milk at work so I could feed my grandson. We found that this breast pump is a well made product which will make your life easier with regards to feeding your new little baby. The box includes the following, (1) pump with shield, (1) valve, (1) 4 ounce bottle with a slow flow nipple (1) storage lid, (1) storage bag, and (1) manual. Before attempting to use the breast pump we took everything out of the box, took an inventory of the items, and read over the instructions manual. We washed the breast pump in warm sudsy water and thoroughly dried it. We then assembled the breast pump according to the instructions. We found the breast pump easy to assemble. My daughter thought the pump was quite comfortable to express milk. {-Variable.fc_1_url-

It was very quiet and lightweight and compact to carry in a tote or briefcase although the storage bag is very poorly made and we decided to use a larger waterproof cosmetic bag. I would definitely recommend this product to my family and friends. I wish I would have went ahead and paid a little extra for the double electric pump. It takes a little while to pump a few bottles to freeze. It's kinda of an inconvenience to have to sit there and manually pump this thing. I don't know about everyone else but if you have a newborn you don't have time for this. I wouldn't personally recommend this but if you have time it's a good product. See more KarlysMom, July 14, 2015 Top 1000 contributor 1 2 Average Rating: ( 4.0 ) out of 5 stars Good in a pinch I would recommend this to anyone who needs a manual pump when they need to relieve some engorgement from their breasts or not having access to an electrical outlet for your other pump. I am used to the suction of the medela PIS and the Symphony. http://intechsol.kz/wp-content/plugins/formcraft/file-upload/server/content/files/16285aa6744bf3---C-cor-chp-max5000-manual.pdf

So when I tried this I was thinking this in no way would be able to get any milk out of me. Boy was I wrong! I got a good 2oz and this was after my baby fed. The pump came with a gumdrop bottle with cap and nipple to feed as well as a black bag to store the pump in. Not to mention it came with the pump top (handle with suction thingy). You are not limited to just the gumdrop bottles if you use the Kiinde system with the adapters for different bottles and pmp into their bags. But otherwise you are limited to them with this pump. With that being said, I wasn't too happy with that aspect of this pump. There wasn't too many things to clean and I liked the way the flanges pointed down. More natural than the medela which are straight. Overall, this is a good on the road pump if you need a quicky or to just get out some milk to give to someone else to feed your baby while you are away. I wouldn't use it for daily use but for emergencies I think it's perfect. See more Bratlyn98, July 21, 2015 3 2 Average Rating: ( 4.0 ) out of 5 stars Basic pump The First Years My Expression Manual Breast Pump is the third manual breast pump that I have tried, and I like this pump so far. My son is very picky in the baby bottles that he will actually use. This breast pump comes with a bottle and nipple that he actually approved off, and I am a happy camper for that. The package comes with the pump, a compatible baby bottle, and a storage bag. The pumping handle swivels to whatever comfortable position you can have. Pumping is easy since you can pump straight into the bottle that the baby can use. By pumping into the baby bottle, you avoid getting bacteria by transferring the expressed milk between different containers. When on the go, I rather take this pump than my electrical pump. This pump is lightweight, with a small bag that makes traveling with it easy. Cleaning is also so much easier than having to deal with all the parts of an electric pump. amicodipiu.com/ckfinder/userfiles/files/canon-30d-manual.pdf

Great for on the go moments, but I would use it on a daily basis as my main pump. Overall a great basic pump and worth buying as a backup when you are out and about. See more Strawberryshortk, August 21, 2015 1 0 Average Rating: ( 4.0 ) out of 5 stars Good Product This is an OK product. It comes in handy when there is not an electrical plug available. The best use for this product is in the car. It can be tough on the hands though. I do recommend this to anyone who is currently or planning on breast feeding. Difficult to find instructions as they were written in so many different languages, however instead of each language being in a different section each pointer was written in each language before moving onto the next so it was difficult to find what you were looking for. Also the booklet was fold out and was huge when folded out which was a bit inconvenient. Once instructions had been found they were easy to follow. Very easy to use, easy to assemble and take apart. It is strong, easily as good as an electric pump and definitely better than the manual one I currently have. Strong suction was very comfortable. Expressing was much quicker than I expected with this pump. Very easy to use, quiet, like the fact the handle is moveable making pumping more comfortable. Milk came out very quickly. Easy to clean and reassemble. I donate breast milk to my local hospital and have found this fantastic to use rather than an electric pump which is noisy, so I can watch TV and pump at the same time. It is quiet expensive but it works really well so I would definitely buy it. I now use this for pumping milk for donation as I find it much better than the electric pump I was given by the hospital. The website is smart, simple to use and informative. I think the teats look excellent. The instructions are pretty easy to follow but it took me a little while to find the English language. This pump is simple to assemble and disassemble. It was just right. It was strong enough and comfortable. It took a while to start with but once the milk started flowing it was quick. It’s very easy to monitor the amount of milk that ha been expressed because I could see without removing the pump from the breast. I think the price is right for a quality breast pump that works well. However, it would be nice if the breast pump came with a bottle teat so that the baby can drink straight from the bottle. If I needed a breast pump I would buy this one. Of the other breast pumps I have used, this one is the easiest to use and most ergonomic. I’m very impressed with this breast pump. I find this an easy to use breast pump. I have tried 3 other breast pumps and this is the best. It doesn’t make my hand ache after use like some breast pumps. A unique feature of this one is that you can rotate the handle so that it is in a comfortable position. The website is very informative about its products and has a very wide range of products to view. I personally did not think the assembly instructions were easy to follow; we struggled to get the suction pump part out of the neck of the pump in order to sterilize it. However when they product came to be it was already fully assembled. The usage instructions were very easy to follow; I had no problems when using the pump. Very simple, a nice easy to use breast pump, I had used another one by another company and it was much harder to use than this breast flow one. The suction was good, I but found I had to press the pump to my breast quite strongly otherwise I lost suction. It was quicker than I expected to express, I could get a 60ml feed for my baby (when he was a week old) in only 15 minutes which is a lot quicker than I thought. I did not find monitoring the amount of milk extremely easy because I found it a bit difficult to read the measurements on the side of the containers whilst pumping. Very portable, the only problem would be with sterilizing it. It did its intended job very well, I would recommend this product to someone who was looking to part time express, if you wanted to fully express for your baby however I would suggest that an electric pump would be better, as your hands and arms can get tired if you are pumping for any length of time.Sat and Sun 9am - 5pm. Bank Holidays - 9am - 5pm. The compact design makes it easy to bring on-the-go in a stylish tote for discrete travel. Designed to help you breastfeed longer, miPump is simple, quiet, quick, and efficient. Best of all, the comfortable, flexi-fit breast shields ensure soft, proper fit and eight suction pressure levels with LED display ensures your comfort as you pump. I got a medela pump free through my insurance. Medela is supposed to be top of the line. The Medela worked fine, no real issues with it. Then my sister, who had just quite breast feeding her 10 month old son, passed this First Years pump down to me so I would have a more portable pump. I FELL IN LOVE! This pump is so portable and the suction is incredible. It pumps better and faster than the Medela every time. Unfortunately I am not able to naturally breastfeed and have to pump each time. This pump has been a life saver. I was able to carry it with me on outings and I love that it has a cooler storage bag to keep my milk cool. I originally kept the Medela at home for home use only and kept the First Years pump in the bag ready to go. That didn't last long, I loved it so much that I started using it at home too. Once I was done breastfeeding my baby I was able to pass it on to a close friend to use with her bundle of joy. So if you are keeping track that is 3 happy healthy babies that this pump has helped fed. Plus if you ever need a replacement valve just call the company and they will send some right out. I can't say enough good things about this pump. LOVED IT! See more HappyMomma, February 2, 2018 3 0 Average Rating: ( 5.0 ) out of 5 stars Better than medela. Okay, first.i read the negitive reviews. I also have medela (got for free) which was loud.the other review was probably a bad item that could of been exchanged for a new one but didnt receive the correct pump and rated it a one star. Walmart shipping has nothing to do with this pump.the rating was missleading and not helpfull. My experience was great. It is cordless. It can use batteries or a charging adapter. It small. You can set a timer. And records how lomg you and manually add how much milk you pump.it keep a history so you can keep track. This was purchased for my daughter as a baby shower gift. She used it for about a week and it just stopped working. Made sure everything was plugged in, pieces correctly in unit. Had to return it and was sent a different pump same one. Please read my DISCLOSURE for more information. She also suggested I express my breast milk so she can bottle feed Gareth. I had been reluctant to express and bottle feed during the confinement month because I didn’t want Gareth to have “nipple confusion” which can happen when an infant hasn’t had a chance to get used to suckling from the breast. If you want to breastfeed, it is usually recommended that you do not introduce any artificial nipples during the first month. I have read some recommendations that suggest the first six weeks. Since Gareth is such a pro on the breast, I figured one month would be enough. Since all our earlier bottles were polycarbonate Avent bottles, hubby and I decided to get the new BPA-free bottles. These days all the baby bottles on the market seem to be BPA-free, or so it appears. It is supposed to be a good imitation of the breast and supposedly makes it easier for baby to switch between the bottle and the breast without problem. Recalling how difficult it was for Gavin to take the bottle when hubby and I were supposed to travel to Shanghai for my brother’s wedding, I didn’t want to risk using Avent bottles again. I never did get around to trying the Breastflow bottle with Gavin, but our recent experience with Gareth is very promising. I figured it would be better to stick to the same system for easy storage of milk. A set of three First Years 5oz bottles is only RM60. Expressing breast milk has always been difficult for me. Of course, if I had to express the milk without baby’s help, I’d be in real trouble. Gareth, it appears, likes it, too. I’d certainly consider this brand for my next baby. It was so difficult to express milk that I gave up. I get even less sleep when I try to express milk. Like when I had to take Gavin to see the doctor, my MIL stayed home with Gareth. I pumped a few times a week when baby was 2-4 months to get him used to the bottle, just in case someone else needs to take over the feeding. Even then, i found it troublesome and stopped expressing for a month. Then baby rejected the bottle and we found that cup-feeding works, same as what you discovered. We have pretty much similar thoughts when it comes to breastfeeding. My MIL prefers to use the bottles and since she will be the one helping to look after Gareth if hubby and I want to go out, I have to leave her with something she’s comfortable with. Thankfully, Gareth doesn’t mind these bottles. Gavin was a lot fussier. Then again, we never tried the First Years teat with him.
